Issue One of Grün Magazine focuses on topics of accountability, personal loss, resilience, yearning, introspection, and adventure. Our writers express these themes through poetry, short story, essay and photography. All the photography in this issue is done by Bethany Bella, who was inspired by not only nature from the Athens area, but California as well. She also draws on themes that reflect the self as a part of nature, and the role humans have in protecting the environment and in creating a sustainable future for all.
